Vintage Hungarian Miners Bottle with Intricate Pattern
We are super chuffed to get our hands on this colourful collection of vintage miners bottles, creatively covered with handwoven patterns in multicoloured wire.
In the mining communities of Hungary, plastic detonator flex was used once and then recycled to hand-weave extraordinary patterns to cover heavy-duty bottles in a variety of shapes and sizes. Each one is completely unique in colour and design, reflecting the history and ingenuity of its weaver.
Stunning when displayed as a part of a collection or individually, these magnificent creations are an intricate and charming addition to any home.
- This vintage piece dates back between the 1950s to 1980s
- Made from handwoven recycled plastic and glass
- Please note: As this is a vintage piece, some marks and signs of wear are to be expected. It's all part of the charm. We've given them a ruddy good clean but they've been down the mines, after all!
