The Printed Peanut

The Printed Peanut

The Printed Peanut is a one-woman operation ran by illustrator Louise Lockhart, based in an old cotton mill in sunny Yorkshire where she spends her days creating designs. Sounds idyllic! The Printed Peanut was born from Louise’s stint working in a stationery shop in Vancouver, fuelled by her love of peanut butter and making things to sell in the shop. Inspired by vintage textiles, folk art, and print ephemera such as food packaging, tickets, and posters, her unique and colourful work has been applied to a varied selection of products.

All of her delightful creations are manufactured in the UK and aim to use eco-friendly materials wherever possible. We particularly love the 100% natural, handmade soap bars which come packaged in Louise’s beautifully illustrated recycled paper wrappers. Each divine smelling soap is made using a cold-process method which creates a biodegradable soap with zero by-products. Eco, ethical and beautiful, what’s not to love about The Printed Peanut!
